ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 240 (ACFRE00178A)

A short radiator length does not make this a thin 240 mm AIO.

The decision

The Liquid Freezer III Pro 240 is worth considering where a 360 mm mount is unavailable, provided the enclosure accepts its thicker assembly. The 38 mm radiator and required fan space are the key tradeoff. A case advertising “240 mm support” still needs a check around RAM, motherboard heatsinks and tube fittings.

Consider it when

  • A checked 240 mm mounting position with at least the specified assembly clearance.
  • AM4, AM5 or current supported Intel systems with a verified pump-area layout.

Look again when

  • A shallow roof mount designed around a thinner radiator and fan stack.
  • An older Intel socket whose separate mounting-kit support has not been established.

The checks that can change your choice

Reserve the 63 mm installation envelope

The verified assembly requirement is 63 mm, with fittings and tubing assessed separately. Its radiator is 277 mm long despite the 240 mm class name, so inspect the available end-tank space too.

Check the motherboard, not only the socket

Use ARCTIC’s Liquid Freezer III motherboard compatibility guidance. Pump-area parts can meet an M.2 heatsink or other board hardware even when the socket itself is supported.
