NZXT Kraken Plus 360 Black (RL-KN360-B2)

An LCD-equipped cooler that needs a header and power plan as well as a radiator mount.

The decision

The Kraken Plus 360 Black adds a 1.54-inch display to a 360 mm cooling layout. Choose it when that visible display is something you will use and the motherboard has the internal connections it needs. The screen does not establish a thermal advantage over a simpler cooler with a similar radiator size.

Consider it when

  • A showcase build with a checked 360 mm bay and spare internal USB connection.
  • A user who wants the display enough to accommodate the extra setup and wiring.

Look again when

  • A board with no available internal USB 2.0 header after other devices are connected.
  • Confusing the non-RGB RL-KN360-B2 with the Elite or RGB packages.

The checks that can change your choice

Reserve SATA power and USB

The supplied display/controller connection needs SATA power and an internal 9-pin USB 2.0 header. Check existing hubs and accessories before buying; an external USB socket is not a direct substitute.

Measure the 401 mm radiator

The radiator is 401 × 120 × 27 mm and its 25 mm fans make a 52 mm basic stack. Confirm end clearance, fittings and the CPU-side tube route rather than checking only three 120 mm fan holes.

Published specifications

360 mm AIO; 401 × 120 × 27 mm radiator; three F120P 25 mm fans; 52 mm radiator/fan stack; 1.54-inch LCD.
