Pure Wings 3 BL108 is the standard-speed black 140 mm PWM model. Its 1200 RPM maximum makes it a different choice from the high-speed variant, and the name alone is not enough to distinguish them. Compare the exact version with the case’s mounting positions and the workload before building a multi-fan group.
Consider it when
- A compatible 140 mm mount with room for a 25 mm frame.
- A build that needs no lighting and can use ordinary four-pin PWM control.
Look again when
- A radiator or restrictive enclosure chosen without evidence that the planned fan arrangement is adequate.
- Using the much smaller running-current figure to approve a crowded header.

Use 0.30 A for the load check
The catalog uses the manufacturer’s safety-current rating, not the 0.06 A running-current figure. Multiply the safety figure by the number of fans on the header and compare it with the motherboard limit.
Match BL108 on the package
DC, high-speed and multi-pack listings are different entries. Confirm the four-pin PWM connector and single-fan contents; a supported mounting size does not establish the wiring or accessories supplied.
