Consider the B580 Challenger 12GB OC when its memory and tested application behavior fit the task. Compare it with the B570 using more than the extra 2 GB: check the actual game or creation program, driver version, total price and motherboard readiness.

Consider it when

  • A platform with Resizable BAR support and a properly configured modern boot environment.
  • Applications with checked Intel GPU support where a 12 GB device-memory budget is appropriate.

Look again when

  • A firmware-limited older PC or a production workflow purchased without testing its required GPU backend.

Intel identifies Resizable BAR or Smart Access Memory as necessary for optimal B-series performance. Check the board’s supported firmware and verify the enabled state rather than assuming a default BIOS setting is correct.

Do not borrow Limited Edition power data

The ASRock board specifies a 650 W recommended PSU and one 8-pin input, with 249 × 132 × 41 mm dimensions. Its source does not publish board power; that remains unknown rather than copied from Intel’s reference card.
