MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8G VENTUS 2X OC PLUS
The 8 GB and 16 GB VENTUS 2X OC PLUS cards share the RTX 5060 Ti name, but the memory choice deserves its own decision. A compact board and an available slot do not establish that 8 GB is enough for the work you plan.
Keep the 8 GB version on the shortlist only after checking your actual game settings or project memory needs. Compare the 16 GB version before ordering, while treating capacity and speed as different questions.
Consider it when
- Your known games or application projects fit within the memory available in use, and tests at your intended settings meet your performance target.
- You have an existing case and PSU and want to evaluate the exact physical board before replacing other parts.
Look again when
- You are planning large textures, models or datasets without a memory estimate or a comparable test.
- You expect to expand the GPU memory later as if it were desktop RAM. Select the required VRAM version at purchase.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Make room for the whole card
- Card length
- 227mm
Compare length with the space left after front fans, radiators and drive cages. Card thickness and power-cable clearance are separate checks.

The checks that can change your choice
Confirm the 8G model on the order
MSI names this board G506T-8V2CP with 8 GB GDDR7. The 16G VENTUS 2X OC PLUS is a different model. Check the complete model name rather than accepting a listing that says only RTX 5060 Ti.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Check slot generation as well as its shape
MSI describes a PCIe Gen5 x16 connector using eight lanes. An older board does not turn that into a sixteen-lane card. Look for performance tests using a comparable platform if the connection may be a constraint.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Verify clearance and cable
The stated dimensions are 227 × 126 × 41 mm, with one 8-pin connector, 180 W card power and a 600 W recommended PSU. Leave side-panel cable clearance and assess the complete system before reusing a power supply.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Published specifications
8 GB GDDR7; 227 × 126 × 41 mm; 180 W card power; 600 W recommended PSU; 1 × 8-pin.
