CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW Black
This is the original 4000D AIRFLOW Black, CC-9011200-WW, rather than the newer FRAME 4000D. Keeping that identity straight matters when comparing cooler height, radiator placement and graphics-card space.
Lay out the cooling and GPU together before choosing this case. Its published maximum dimensions are separate limits; they do not prove every combination of parts can occupy that space simultaneously.
Consider it when
- You want a conventional ATX tower and can plan the CPU cooler, graphics card and drive layout as a complete assembly.
- You already own the case and can check an upgrade against the installed fans and cooling hardware instead of buying another enclosure by default.
Look again when
- You need a 360 mm radiator at the top. The original chassis supports that radiator size at the front, which also needs a GPU-clearance check.
- Your air cooler needs a raised front fan that exceeds the case height allowance.
The checks that can change your choice
Include RAM in the CPU-cooler calculation
Corsair lists a 170 mm CPU-cooler limit. Noctua currently gives a 171 mm NH-D15 example with 35 mm RAM and a raised front fan. That combination needs a verified alternative arrangement; the unadjusted cooler height is not enough.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Reserve GPU space after front cooling
The published maximum GPU length is 360 mm. Check the distance left with your actual front radiator and fan stack installed, plus the card power plug and cable path. Do not assume the case maximum is still available after adding hardware.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Check top radiator and memory together
Corsair lists top 280 mm radiator support with low-profile CORSAIR LPX memory, while 240 mm supports its wider DRAM range. Check the exact radiator thickness, fans and your own memory rather than extending that qualification to every kit.

Official CC-9011200-WW product page specifies Case Power Supply: ATX. English white version of the same 4000D AIRFLOW chassis also explicitly lists ATX. Do not confuse with the newer FRAME 4000D.
