Fractal Design Pop 2 Air Black Solid (FD-C-POA2A-01)

A solid-side case with roof-focused radiator support, not a generic Pop-series layout.

The decision

The Pop 2 Air Black Solid is useful when a mesh intake and an enclosed visual presentation fit the room better than a glass display. Plan its cooling around the actual 2026 model: the cataloged layout supports roof and rear radiators, with no front radiator support. Older Pop instructions should not determine this build.

Consider it when

  • An air-cooled build within the 170 mm tower limit.
  • A roof-mounted liquid setup that meets the exact radiator and motherboard-space restrictions.

Look again when

  • A plan requiring a front-mounted AIO.
  • A roof radiator wider than 121 mm or longer than 407 mm.

The checks that can change your choice

The roof rectangle is specific

The top supports 120, 240 and 360 mm classes, with 407 mm length and 121 mm width limits. Check motherboard-component and RAM height against the 47 mm restriction, not just screw-hole spacing.

Confirm the solid-side SKU

FD-C-POA2A-01 identifies this version with three Aspect 12X fans. Check package contents and control connections before ordering extra fans or assuming a different glass or illuminated version’s accessories.

Published specifications

2026 mesh case; three Aspect 12X fans; GPU clearance 416 mm; air cooler clearance 170 mm.
