ARCTIC P12 Pro PST (ACFAN00306A, single fan)
A 120 mm chained-fan option whose 3000 RPM ceiling calls for a deliberate fan curve.
The P12 Pro PST is useful when several compatible 120 mm positions need coordinated PWM control without lighting. Start with the required airflow path and a sensible speed curve. Its high maximum speed is a control range, not a reason to run every case fan at full speed or a promise of quieter operation.
Consider it when
- A 120 mm case or radiator mount compatible with the 25 mm frame.
- Several fans sharing a verified header load through PST.
Look again when
- A 140 mm-only mounting location.
- Adding a chain without checking the combined current of every connected fan.

The checks that can change your choice
Count every load on the PST header
ARCTIC limits this model to three fans on a 1 A header, six on a 2 A header or nine on a 3 A header. These are maximum counts for the stated header rating. Any other fans or devices on the same power path also consume that current budget. Check the exact motherboard limits and total connected load; reduce the chain or use a suitably rated powered hub where required. PST does not add electrical capacity.

This model specifies 0 RPM below 5% PWM and a 600–3000 RPM operating range. Check start-up and restart behaviour with your motherboard settings, and avoid allowing a necessary intake path to stop unintentionally.

Single non-RGB PST model, not a 5-pack, CO or LN variant. Add the rated current of all daisy-chained fans and verify the motherboard header limit; PST does not supply extra power. Confirm mounting position and screw/clearance suitability.
