SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB
A 20 GB Radeon for applications that can make useful, supported use of the larger memory pool.
The PULSE RX 7900 XT provides more memory than the 16 GB options around it, but that is only one part of the choice. Verify software support and actual processing performance against the RX 9070 XT and 7900 XTX before paying for extra capacity.
Consider it when
- A supported creation or graphics workload with a demonstrated need beyond a 16 GB budget.
- A full-size build with sufficient cooling and a suitable PSU already planned.
Look again when
- An AI runtime chosen without checking Radeon support, or ordinary workloads that do not benefit from the extra memory.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Make room for the whole card
- Card length
- 313mm
Compare length with the space left after front fans, radiators and drive cages. Card thickness and power-cable clearance are separate checks.

The checks that can change your choice
The XT and XTX have different cabling
This PULSE 7900 XT uses two 8-pin inputs with 331 W total board power and a 750 W minimum PSU. The XTX’s three-connector arrangement must not be copied into this exact-board description.
Memory is not fully available to model weights
Reserve room for runtime overhead, context and other GPU use. Twenty gigabytes of device capacity does not prove that a nominally similar-sized model or scene will run successfully.
Published specifications
20 GB GDDR6; 313 × 133.75 × 52.67 mm; 331 W total board power; minimum 750 W PSU; 2 × 8-pin.
