Graphics card · MODEL NOTES
SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB
The PULSE RX 9070 XT is the larger Radeon in the featured gaming builds. The choice should be supported by the games and settings you want to run, because it adds installation and power demands without increasing the 16 GB capacity of the 9060 XT example.
Check the GPU requirement independently of the CPU. You do not need to replace a working processor simply because this card appears in the X3D starter list.
Consider it when
- Results for your games at your chosen resolution justify moving beyond the smaller GPU option, and the rest of your system can accommodate the card.
- Your PSU has the required appropriate cables and your case leaves room for the cooler and unobstructed intake.
Look again when
- Your main requirement is a local model or project that already exceeds 16 GB of usable GPU memory. A higher model tier does not increase this card capacity.
- You would need an unplanned PSU or case replacement and have not included that work in the decision.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Make room for the whole card
- Card length
- 320mm
- Card height
- 120.25mm
- Card thickness
- 61.6mm
Compare length with the space left after front fans, radiators and drive cages. Card thickness and power-cable clearance are separate checks.

The checks that can change your choice
Check three dimensions, not just length
This exact PULSE board measures 320 × 120.25 × 61.6 mm and occupies three slots. Check front cooling clearance, side-panel cable space and any expansion card beneath the GPU.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Arrange the correct power connections
SAPPHIRE specifies two 8-pin connectors, 304 W typical board power and a minimum 750 W PSU. Confirm the full system load and follow the PSU manufacturer cable instructions; connector availability and a printed wattage are separate checks.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Check the software before selecting Radeon
For rendering or local AI, identify the application version, operating system and GPU backend first. A memory estimate can reject an undersized configuration, but it cannot establish driver support or execution speed.
