ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM

A large 4K OLED whose high-refresh and laptop-charging features need separate configuration.

The decision

PG32UCDM is a deliberate choice for someone who wants a 31.5-inch 4K OLED workspace and a high-refresh gaming mode on the same desk. Check viewing distance and GPU output before selecting it. The 240 Hz limit describes a supported display mode, not the frame rate a game will achieve at 4K.

Consider it when

  • A suitable GPU and cable path for the chosen 4K mode.
  • A multi-use desk where the display size and USB-C features will actually be used.

Look again when

  • A laptop requiring more power than the monitor can supply.
  • An always-static workflow chosen without reviewing OLED care and regional warranty conditions.

The checks that can change your choice

90 W is a menu-enabled charging mode

The verified manufacturer information states 65 W by default and up to 90 W when enabled. Check the laptop’s requirement, cable capability and monitor setting rather than assuming the maximum is active immediately.

Match the original PG32UCDM

Verify the exact model, input timing, firmware and DSC requirements. Closely named ROG monitors can use different panels or modes; do not transfer their specifications or maintenance instructions to this unit.
