DeepCool AK400
A straightforward tower for a build that does not need to revolve around its cooler.
The AK400 keeps the choice focused on a single 120 mm fan and a 155 mm tower. Shortlist it when replacing a basic cooler or finishing a mainstream build; judge the result against your actual CPU power limits and case airflow, rather than treating four heatpipes as a guaranteed cooling capacity.
Consider it when
- A conventional tower case with enough room above the CPU.
- A simple PWM-controlled air-cooling layout without pump or display wiring.
Look again when
- A small enclosure with less than 155 mm cooler space.
- A sustained high-power workload without evidence that this exact CPU and cooler pairing meets your target.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Check the height with the fan installed
- Published cooler height
- 155mm
Confirm the manufacturer fan position, RAM clearance and the case side-panel limit. The drawing does not measure cooling performance.
Check cooler and RAM clearance ↗Based on the manufacturer specification record, checked . Check the exact revision and installation instructions before buying.
The checks that can change your choice
Check the whole 127 × 97 mm footprint
Height alone does not describe fit. Compare the tower and fan position with memory, nearby motherboard heatsinks and the path to the rear case fan before deciding the installation is clear.
Match the mounting kit to the box
The current multi-socket product page is broader than some older packaging. Confirm that the retail box includes the bracket for your CPU socket, especially when buying older stock.
