MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G VENTUS 2X OC
A relatively short RTX 5070 that trades length for a thicker cooler and a 16-pin input.
The 236 mm VENTUS 2X OC may solve a length constraint, but its 50 mm thickness and power-cable space still need attention. Compare it with the larger GIGABYTE 5070 variant on fit, noise evidence, warranty and actual price rather than GPU name alone.
Consider it when
- A build where 12 GB VRAM is sufficient and a shorter 5070 board helps the layout.
- A system with an appropriate PSU and a well-routed compatible 16-pin cable.
Look again when
- Projects needing more than 12 GB or a case whose side panel crowds the power connector.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Make room for the whole card
- Card length
- 236mm
- Card height
- 126mm
- Card thickness
- 50mm
Compare length with the space left after front fans, radiators and drive cages. Card thickness and power-cable clearance are separate checks.

The checks that can change your choice
Plan the connector before closing the panel
MSI lists one 16-pin input, 250 W card power and a 650 W recommended PSU, with ATX 3.1 recommended. Use the exact supported cable or adapter and follow its seating and bend-clearance instructions.
Length is only one dimension
The board is 236 × 126 × 50 mm. Check nearby expansion cards, front radiators and GPU intake space; a short card can still obstruct slots or lack breathing room.
Published specifications
12 GB GDDR7; 236 × 126 × 50 mm; 250 W card power; 650 W recommended PSU; 1 × 16-pin; ATX 3.1 PSU recommended.
