SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 9070 GRE OC 12GB
A 12 GB GRE model that must be compared separately from the 16 GB RX 9070.
The PULSE 9070 GRE OC is a different buying proposition from the non-GRE 9070. Compare the real offer and workload performance, with memory capacity and power included. The GRE suffix should not be treated as an interchangeable regional label for the same card.
Consider it when
- A graphics workload that fits a practical 12 GB memory budget and has a competitive local offer.
- A case that accommodates the 280 mm board and an appropriate two-8-pin power arrangement.
Look again when
- A workload needing 16 GB, or a small saving against the ordinary 9070 after complete-system costs.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Make room for the whole card
- Card length
- 280mm
Compare length with the space left after front fans, radiators and drive cages. Card thickness and power-cable clearance are separate checks.
Check graphics-card clearance ↗Based on the manufacturer specification record, checked . Check the exact revision and installation instructions before buying.
The checks that can change your choice
Use the SAPPHIRE OC board specification
The exact GRE OC board lists 12 GB, 240 W typical board power and a 650 W minimum PSU. Do not substitute the reference GPU’s power rating or the non-GRE 9070’s 16 GB capacity.
Check the manufacturer document ↗Similar external size is not equivalence
Its 280 × 120.25 × 51.5 mm body matches the catalog non-XT 9070 dimensions. That helps a fit comparison, but does not establish equal thermals, noise or application speed.
Published specifications
12 GB GDDR6; 280 × 120.25 × 51.5 mm; 240 W typical board power; minimum 650 W PSU; 2 × 8-pin.
