Kingston FURY Renegade 48GB DDR5-7200 CL38
A high-profile-speed kit that also changes the capacity decision
This Renegade kit sits between common 32 GB and 64 GB capacities while targeting a DDR5-7200 profile. It can be attractive when 48 GB is enough for the workload and the exact platform has suitable validation. Separate those two reasons to buy: you may benefit from more memory while gaining little from the higher data rate, or need a lower profile for stability.
Consider it when
- A validated two-DIMM platform where 48 GB is useful and profile testing is acceptable.
Look again when
- The system requires effortless high-capacity stability or lacks support for 24 GB DIMMs.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Check the space under the cooler
- Memory module height
- 39.2mm
Compare the module height with the cooler’s documented RAM clearance. A raised cooler fan may also need more space below the case side panel.

The checks that can change your choice
Check 24 GB modules and the 7200 profile together
KF572C38RSK2-48 contains 2 × 24 GB, uses XMP 3.0 and stands 39.2 mm tall. CPU support for DDR5 alone does not validate this density at 7200 MT/s. Check the board’s exact kit population and keep a known-stable recovery configuration.
Validate the kit, then the profile
Use the exact kit code in the board’s memory support list and install the matched modules in its recommended slots. First establish a stable default boot, then enable the supported profile and test memory. Mixing separate kits is not equivalent to buying one validated larger kit.
