CORSAIR RM1000e (2025, CP-9020297-NA)
A short 1000 W ATX supply for an explicitly high-demand build
The 2025 RM1000e can fit a higher-demand configuration while retaining a compact 140 mm metal chassis. It should be selected from the actual CPU and graphics-card requirements, not as a default purchase for every premium build. Compare connector count and routing with the RM1000x: equal wattage does not mean the same conventional PCIe cable inventory or the same installation experience.
Consider it when
- A verified high-demand single-GPU system that benefits from a short ATX PSU body.
Look again when
- The power requirement is modest or the planned devices need more independent conventional PCIe cables.
THE SPACE IT NEEDS
Leave room beyond the PSU body
- PSU body length
- 140mm
The body length excludes the working space needed for plugs and cable bends. Drive cages and the case layout can reduce that space.

The checks that can change your choice
Capacity and connector inventory are separate constraints
CP-9020297-NA records a 600 W native 16-pin cable and two conventional PCIe cable runs. The alternative dual-8-pin lead uses the native port. Check the regional input label and supplied mains lead, then match the complete connector arrangement to the exact hardware.
Check the whole power path
Compare the CPU and exact graphics card requirements with the PSU capacity and included connector arrangement. Count independent cable runs where the GPU manual requires them. Use only cables approved for this exact power supply; similar-looking modular plugs do not establish compatible wiring.
