Logitech G G435 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset

A lightweight wireless headset with built-in microphones and one active audio mode at a time.

The decision

G435 is useful when you prefer a lightweight headset without an external boom microphone. Its manufacturer-listed 165 g weight is a physical specification, not a guarantee of comfort on every head. Decide between the LIGHTSPEED receiver and Bluetooth for the actual host, and consider whether built-in microphones suit the room where you talk.

Consider it when

  • A supported computer with room for the supplied USB receiver.
  • A user wanting a simple wireless headset with no projecting boom.

Look again when

  • A need to mix PC receiver audio and phone Bluetooth audio simultaneously.
  • Assuming the G435 SE and standard G435 have identical package details.

The checks that can change your choice

Switch modes deliberately

The setup guide describes switching between LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth, with one Bluetooth device at a time. Do not treat the two connection logos as proof of simultaneous audio mixing.

Test voice pickup in the real room

The built-in beamforming microphones remove a boom from the face, but the room and speaking position still matter. Record a short sample with your normal fan and keyboard noise before deciding whether the arrangement is suitable.

Standard G435, not G435 SE. LIGHTSPEED requires the wireless USB receiver; Bluetooth requires a compatible audio host. The setup guide specifies one Bluetooth device at a time and switching between LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth modes, not simultaneous audio mixing.
