Logitech Z207 Bluetooth Computer Speakers

A mains-powered pair for switching between a PC and another Bluetooth source.

The decision

Z207 is useful when you want ordinary desktop speakers and a simple change between paired devices. Its connection options are Bluetooth and analog 3.5 mm audio; it is not a USB sound device. Leave space for the AC adapter and choose where the front controls and headphone jack will remain easy to reach.

Consider it when

  • A fixed desk with an electrical outlet and a compatible audio output.
  • A user who alternates between two Bluetooth devices rather than mixing them.

Look again when

  • A USB-only audio plan without a suitable adapter.
  • Expecting simultaneous sound from both paired Bluetooth devices.

The checks that can change your choice

Switch playback rather than mixing it

The documented method is to pause one paired Bluetooth device before playing the other. Test that routine with your phone and computer; pairing two devices does not promise a mixer.

Power and audio take separate routes

The supplied AC adapter powers the system. For wired computer audio use the 3.5 mm input, and check that the chosen PC output is a headphone or line output rather than a microphone socket.

Published specifications

2.0 desktop speakers; Bluetooth or 3.5 mm analog input; front headphone jack; 5 W RMS total audio output.
