The decision

Z623 is a straightforward choice when your source provides analog audio and the desk can accommodate a wired 2.1 system. Put the subwoofer placement and right-speaker controls into the plan before purchasing. The system name or output rating does not establish how loud, balanced or neighbour-friendly it will be in your room.

Consider it when

  • A PC with suitable 3.5 mm audio or another analog source using RCA.
  • A user who prefers physical volume and bass controls within reach.

Look again when

  • A requirement for Bluetooth, USB audio or an optical connection.
  • A USB-only computer without an appropriate audio adapter.

Z623 and Z625 are different connection choices

This model’s documented inputs are analog 3.5 mm and RCA. Do not import an optical-input claim from the Z625; confirm the exact model before buying cables for a digital source.

Allow for all three powered-system links

The system needs wall power and both satellites connected to the subwoofer. An RCA cable is separate. Route the wiring so the right satellite’s volume and bass controls remain convenient after installation.
